About Us
It all started when Nick and Dustin met over 10 years ago at work and instantly bonded over many things. One of those things was BEER! When the two realized the joys of what BEER could bring, they decided to brew their own batch at home and fell into a hobby that would change their lives. Over the next 10 years, a weekend hobby would evolve from an occasional family gathering to escape the stresses of work, into a full fledged dream-to-reality business that is now Lake Pleasant Brewing!
During the Spring of 2020 and the events that followed, Nick and Dustin both found themselves simultaneously unemployed. With the world shutdown and no companies hiring, the two families sat down and planned how to turn a dream into reality. A business plan was drafted, potential locations for the brewery were visited, and by Thanksgiving 2020 we found our home in North Phoenix at 19th Ave & Rose Garden.
On February 12th 2021, we got the keys and construction started. With the world being the way it was, Nick and Dustin spent every day for the next year planning and building the brewery as you see it today. Exactly 1 year later we had our Grand Opening on February 11th, 2022 and we opened the doors to welcome the community into our family!
Because of the support of these 3, we are able to do what we love and share it with you every day. Dustin's wife Julie, Nick's sister Maria, & Nick's wife Ally are ladies that make it all happen on and behind the scenes.
Lake Pleasant Brewing Company is a family-owned brewery committed to creating a home away from home where people can share their love of BEER with each other, gather to recoup from the stresses of life’s challenges, and join to celebrate life’s accomplishments.
To us, BEER is more than just a drink in a glass. It's about how it draws people together from different walks of life and it's ability to turn strangers into friends and friends into family. We are honored that we have the ability to serve you a pint every day and celebrate what BEER means to us all.
